characters. I've always wanted to join in so I thought today I get it a try!
My
Secondary Character this Saturday is: Vijay from Revolution.
Vijay was Andi's best friend, although you may not have guessed that, for the little time they spent together yet I loved the power of their briefly shared moments together. He was the first character you are shown who believes in Andi and believes she can get out of the dark place that she is in, when previously, reading through Andi's eyes the outlook does not seem pretty positive. I also think he helped considerably when it came to lightening the dark tone that the book took on at points. I loved his erratic mother and the names he called her like Momshell, Momsoon and Atom Mom, all of which made me smile when previously I'd been close to crying.
You have to love those characters who add light whenever they can. =) They're always the best. I haven't read Revolution but I've had it on my shelf for about a year. It's been so highly recommended, I think I'll have to pick it up the next time I need historical ficition. Thanks so much for participating!
